To get medicinal benefits from cinnamon not all that much is required. To maintain healthy insulin and cholesterol levels it is recommended that two teaspoons of cinnamon are consumed daily. Alternatively, you could take cinnamon pills found at a health food store.
To ingest two teaspoons of cinnamon a day can be easy. Put some on your daily fruits like apples, applesauce, pears, etc. Cinnamon can also be mixed into coffee, put on top of other coffee like drinks, or in to hot chocolate. It can also be sprinkled on to ice cream. I've seen that cinnamon can help intensify flavors in savory dishes as well.
